Q: Why is there a full U2 album in my ipad music library?

It is likely that you have Automatic Downloads enabled on your iPad. The U2 album was placed in all eligible libraries for download. See this page -

You can, of course, delete the content. Follow the steps in this article -

Specifically -

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Tap the Music app.
2. Tap the Songs category.
3. Swipe left over the song you want to delete.
4. Tap Delete.
