Q: Apple Store Complete Disappointment
Has anyone had a similar issue?
I have been following the iPhone 6 for many months and sat from 12am last night refreshing the apple store page to see when I could pre order it. This morning at around 8:30 I finally manage to see it was available. It was showing as shipping 19/09. I clicked to order the phone and then input my details and shipping address including payment. It was only after clicking to confirm the final payment that the dispatch date jumped to 3-4 weeks. I was very unhappy with this and tried to contact Apple Customer Support to receive a recorded message saying my call could not be added to the queue.
I tried again a couple of hours later and waited 30 minutes for the call to be answered. The person on the other end of the line stated that it was just one of those things and nothing could be done. After him going to check a couple of things I finally asked to speak to a manager but the person hung up the phone.
I am so disappointed by this level of customer service and goes against all my previous experiences. I could not find a direct way to contact them via email so though I would see if anyone else has had this poor experience?
Thinking maybe time for a change.
