I have been using the great anti-glare screen protectors by Power Support since the iPhone 3GS.

You can buy it for $18 (2 protectors) for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ at the online and retail Apple Stores:

I just bought one for my iPhone 6 Plus yesterday at the Apple Retail store in the Woodlands Mall (Houston, TX).

One of the Apple guys even put it on my phone, and did a GREAT job.

I highly recommend this screen protector.

  • Almost no glare/reflection
  • Eliminates most fingerprints and other smears
  • Strong protection for your screen
  • Great price at about $9/protector

I also have a mixed feeling as some of the other people posting in this forum. Does the phone need an additional glass screen protector or any screen protector at all.. I'm not too sure, but for the sake of additional protection it's worth getting.

This one from Orzly looks pretty good. A lot cheaper than most brands.

0.24mm thick for only $4.99. If the reviews from the iPhone 5 screen protector are anything to go by it's definitely worth a punt!

I have the Spigen GLASS.tR slim for the iphone 6. I ordered it before I got the phone. I used the GLASS.tR nanoslim for my iphone 5 and it worked really well. I couldn't even tell that there was a protector on it because of how slim it was and it covered the entire screen really well. The feel of the protector was just like the screen itself, also the glass really allowed the resolution to shine. It also protected the screen - I had cracked the protector but the iphone screen was fine. Of course there are limitations to what a screen protector can do however.

Based on all these positives, I ordered one for the new iphone 6. Sorely disappointed. This is the slim version as a nanoslim is not being offered yet - it is noticeably thicker. Coverage is not edge to edge as people have mentioned about the new curved design. It's annoying because 1) it's very obvious there's a screen protector 2) on the very edge of the screen, the protector does cover - but just barely. Thus because it's a thick glass, there's some refraction on the edges which is annoying.

I've never had a case for the 3GS, 4S, and 5S, only screen protectors and it worked fine for me. Now with this new one with reports that it cracks easier, I've resorted to a bumper case and the ****** glass protector....for now. I very much would like to use the phone sans case with a better protector.

I've been a long time Spigen and Tech Armor glass user. I hate using cases for my devices and have always been a little drop prone, so I think these screen protectors are awesome. I've seen some people here say that they take away from the aesthetics of the phone so I took a couple of pictures of my iPhone 5S and iPad Air. I don't think the iPad Air protector is noticeable at all and it's been on since March. They're easy to install and definitely don't take away any touch sensitivity. I used Spigen until I found out about Tech Armor. They are similar quality and about a third of the price.

As everyone's mentioned the new screen protectors aren't able to cover the entire screen, so that's a bummer. But, notice the iPhone 6 Tech Armor protector on the iPad. The cutouts look pretty terrible. So I'm going to go with Spigen for now. Thanks to Death_of_Marat for the picture, Spigen definitely looks better. I hope the companies will soon find away to cover the entire screen because I don't want to go back to using a case.

Hope this helps.

These are all Tech Armor:

Since the OP asked about screen protectors, I'm focusing on that subject. A screen protector may not be enough for those of you who live/work in harsh environments, but for me a great screen protector (film), a good case to protect against scratches and small bumps, and AppleCare+ to handle major accidents is all I need.

As I mentioned earlier, the screen protector by Power Support ($18 for 2) has worked great for me over the years, and is working well on my iPhone 6+.

Here's an actual closeup on my phone:

As you can see, it just covers the actual screen and does NOT extend fully to the edge. But covering the screen is the purpose of a "Screen Protector", and is what I want it to do.

To provide protection to the over all phone, I have always used simple cases, like this one that I have on order:

This is a case by i-BLASON, that is "Anti Scratch, Crystal Clear, Slim Fit, with Front Bumper", and cost only $13.

My hope is that while providing reasonable protection, it will also show off the beauty of my iPhone.

Finally, after having done considerable research on iPhone extended warranty and insurance plans, it seems the best value (for me) is theAppleCare+ Planfor $99. IMO it provides great coverage including any HW failures, battery replacement with no deductables. And, to cover the major drop, it provides accidental damage (2) with only a $79 deduction. For a review of iPhone extended warranty/insurance plans, see this comparison review by imore.com.

When I get my case, I'll report on actual fit/usage.

Good luck to all.

I am waiting a while to purchase a good screen protector. I bought a 6 pack of anti-glare ones from Amazon for $1.99 +$3.99 shipping, there were actually 9 in the pack which I guess was a mistake, oh well. It is an anti glare and because it was released early, I had them at my door on Sept 16th, the top cutout is a just a big rectangle instead of the precise cutouts. It is a PET film and does not cover the curved part of the screen but it does fit well and will suit me fine till something better comes out. I have had it on my phone and my wife's phone since the 19th and there has not been any peeling at the edges and there is zero dust or bubbles. I have always used PowerSupport in the past but when I ordered these those hadn't even been announced yet.

For me I have always preferred the anti-glare feel. I like that finger prints don't show and it does degrade the image quality anywhere near enough for it to bother me. I finally have a case coming tomorrow (was supposed to be here on the 19th but Spigen is all messed up). I will see how well it fits with the Neo Metal Hybrid on it.

Understood, but mine fit rather well. Sure, it just BARELY covers the actual functional part of the screen, but that's because the curve of the real screen starts right there and any larger it would overhang like your pictures showed. I wonder if this isn't a difference in where the curves for each screen starts. maybe the manufacturing of the screen is off by that much on the curvature. I don't know. I did notice however that there appears to be a little bit of a gap at the top and bottom of mine instead of on the sides like yours. Tried taking some photos to show how the sides line up with my screen. Finally got

a less expensive case as well to hold me over till I figure out if I'm still keeping the phone and what case I want on it if I do.

Here's a quick report on the crystal clear case by iBlason.

This pic shows both the case and the screen protector (by Power Support).

I have to say that my immediate reaction after installing the case was, "I LOVE IT". 😎

It fits very well, provides a bumper for both front and back, and allows the beauty of my gold iPhone 6+ to shine through.

There is a small gap between the screen protector and the case, but I don't see that as a concern.

IAC, maybe later Power Support and other screen protector manufacturers will update their product to cover more of the phone face. The actual screen is covered 100%.

I'll provide more pics later when I have some time. Click on the "In Response To" link for my previous post with links to products.

I'm using inSkin tempered glass screen protector. Its the only one I see that covers the total screen expect for the curve edges ofcoure but its a great fit. I got it for $14.99. There in Canada. I was going to get iloome's tempered glass since their gonna be the 1st ones to actually cover the edges but this came along and so far I like it. You can buy from their site, amazon or ebay. Here's the ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Inskin-0-3mm-Ultra-Slim-Tempered-Glass-Screen-Protector- Kit-iPhone-6-Plus-5-5-/271612992167 Plus idk with iloome but inSkin you get free lifetime replacements in case if bubbles or scratches.User uploaded file

Picture shows Sir Lancelot's Armor screen protector. Disappointed that it does not cover the edges but at this point, I don't care anymore. Tried Halo, Tech Armor, Spigen and 3M to much disappointment.

BodyGuardz screen protector does not cover the curved edges.

Look at the thumbnails. Same issue like all previous screen protectors.

I have a Spigen Neo Hybrid case very similar to the one mhennessie posted. I'm thinking about a tempered glass protector. I want to make sure it covers the screen itself, as I have heard many dont. However, unlike most of you, I would probably prefer one that DOESN'T cover the entire front because the case ever so slightly wraps around the edge. That iloome protector that is coming out looks great, but not if I can't fit the case around it. Any suggestions?
