Q: Can't delete U2 song from iphone

Have you ever figured this out? Because I have the same problem, tried to talk to apple support, and they tried to charge me $30 before they would even listen to me.

i just checked my music list, and to my amazement, that one remaining song has finally vanished.

TY to jeffm1999! Using the instructions found here I was able to remove the one U2 song that was making me crazy on my iPhone. My iTunes was no longer showing the song but my phone was. Using your instructions (on the phone and not iTunes) I deleted the (1) remaining song off of the phone. TY again! I hope that iTunes asks its users before assuming in the future that all people want the same free music. If they want to give away free music, it would probably be better if they let the user choose the album themselves and pay the artist out of the millions of dollars that Apple makes everyday. My guess would be that this would go over better than forcing music on people.

This worked for me...check this link on APPLE.  It removed it instantly from my phone THANK GOD...the removal tool didn't work for me but this did.

Omg! This was driving me nuts! This is the only thing that worked for me.

Use the SOI Removal tool, then on your iPhone go to your settings, tap "iTunes & App Store," click your Apple ID at the top, click "Sign Out," close all your open apps except for settings, then log back in with your Apple ID.

This is the ONLY thing that worked for me.

thanks a lot, i have been trying to remove U2 songs as they are not very good as well the icons they display are not very good for children.
