Viber coversations deleted and unable to recieve messages

I have an Ipod touch 5, that has viber installed on it. I recharged my ipod today and opened my viber to find all my conversations deleted. So for example if I had had a conversation with 'A' all my messages with 'A' will have been deleted although the conversation title still remains. I am also unable to receive any messages on my viber account.

I have tried uninstalling and installing. The same problem occurs on my phone (android). I have iOS 7.1.2.

Restoring from backup should get the conversations back to the point the backup was made

Contact the developer/go to their support site since it does not work on the android device that sound like a Viber server problem

when I restored from backup on a new Iphone5 I did not get conversations on viber. I got a requestion to to put in my information ..where I was and phone number..then I saw my contacts but none of my history.. All the convesations were gone. Is this how it is always with viber? I was able to transfer whatsap completely.
