Unable to connect to Canon printer MG4270 by one particular MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro bought in mid 2010, Intel Core 2 Duo, OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)
The OS X was re-installed after the disk was erased.
The Canon printer MG4270 was connected to the Airport Time Capsule using WiFi.
Through Apple Store, Canon Inkjet printer software update V3.0 has been installed.
Canon IJ Network Tool V4.4.0 has been installed.
When I add the printer, the printer cannot be connected. See the captured image.
I have 2 other MacBook Pros of newer models; they can connect and print to the printer. One of them is just purchased 2 weeks ago. I have successfully installed the printer.
