Yes. when you go to Sound in Control Panel you can see the Speakers and the sound bar is active. Likewise when you plug the Earphones in it recognises them and the green active/volume scale is moving up and down - but again no sound. The earphones work on my iPad,

Not sure what BootCamp drivers are needed. I have used the machine for a few years as a Mac but need a Window system for accounting. When the system boot you get the Windows twang. If I try to play something from iTunes it again shows there is a signal - but no sound.

It is Intel(R) Core(TM2 Duo CPU E8435@ 3.06GHz with 4GB RAM and a 32bit Op sys. If loaded Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1.

Thanks

1.. The drivers are specific to Windows and your hardware. I recommend using Bootcamp Assistant. Run Bootcamp Assistant, choose Download drivers to a USB (2GB stick). and download the latest drivers. Boot Windows, and run setup.exe in the Bootcamp folder.

2. Click on About This Mac (top left Apple icon in the menu bar). It should show you what version of OSX you are currently running.

This is your machine - http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/specs/imac-core-2-duo-3.06-24-inch-al uminum-early-2008-penryn-specs.html

It is an iMac from 2008. You can download the .zip file directly to a new folder on the Windows side, unzip it and run setup.exe from this folder.

This is what you need - Boot Camp Support Software 4.0.4033. (From System Requirements).
