Q: Brightness different on 2nd thunderbolt display

I just purchased a 2nd thunderbolt display today (working with a MacBook Air 2012). It looks like the newer display is brighter than the older display (purchased June 2012). Has anyone else had this problem. It's driving me crazy to see one display brighter than the other. I've adjusted the brightness to the brightest on both and removed the checkmark from the "Automatically adjust brightness".

If you are seeing issues with your two external displays having inconsistent brightness, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

I also have the same issue with the brightness being inconsistent between two Thunderbolt Displays. I have to turn the brightness down about 12-15% on one to equal the brightness of the other. The other display seems to have washed out (almost grey) whites compared to the brighter Thunderbolt Display.

I've tried recalibrating the displays using the links provided above, but the closest I have to them being consistent is just to turn one display's brightness down.
