New Epson WF 7620 will not print with Macbook Air, receive "Print File Was Not Accepted" message.

That printer has built-in networking, so if it's already connected to the network, you should not use Printer Sharing.

Try Linc's suggestion first. That should cure your issue. If not, here's something else to consider:

Apple keeps a set of current software for Epson printers. You should start by going to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and delete the printer from the list (using the "-" key). Then download Apple's software version from here:

Epson Printer Drivers v2.18 for OS X

Finally, set up the printer as shown here:

Does the printer work when connected via USB? You will have to add it again.

Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Select the printer. Click "Options & Supplies", then try these two steps:

1. Click "Supply levels" at the top. Do you see your ink levels? If not, your printer is not communicating at all with your Mac.

2. Click "Utility" at the top. Try various options there, especially "Print Test Page."

I suggest you call EPSON tech support tomorrow, and if they can't solve the problem immediately, return the printer.

That's interesting about the scan working. Linc is surely right ... there should be some setting on the Epson about how to receive files that is incorrectly set right now.

Just bought the same printer and having the same problem on Macbook Air. Did you get anywhere resolving this?

I bought one today, installed it and added the printer to an iMac, a MacBook Pro (both 2009) and a 2012 MacBook Air as well as my iPhone 6+

All Mac's prints using 'secure airprint', the iPhone prints using AirPrint.

Scanning also works for the Macs.

I did not install anything - just added the printer from the preference pane (it was visible as a 'nearby' printer).

I am running 10.10 on the Mac's and 8.1 on the iPhone
