Q: iphone 4s wont connect to pc

hello there

i have got a unique problem with my phone, ive been browsing different forums for awhile and have not come across anyone with a similar problem. every time i connect my phone to my pc it connects for 1 second and then disconnects and reconnects again for 1 second and this repeats constantly. the device connected noise keeps playing on loop because the device will connect for a second and then disconnect the next and reconnect after and so on. on my phone the battery will go green for charging and then normal and then charging as the phone connects and disconnects in seconds. my itunes is up to date and so is my phone. ive tried with different usb cables and same results.  ive stopped and resrtaed the apple mobile device and still no different.  ive even been on device manager but the phone doesent stay connected long enough for it to appear on it to see if the drivers are updated.  i am using windows 7.
