I have a BRODIT "active" car mount for my iphone 4, it holds the phone perfectly and is very stable. I have recently pre-ordered an iPhone 6 plus and I understand that Brodit are in the process of designing a mount for this phone and its smaller version the iPhone6.
I have tried various mounts in the past but I find that Brodit is by far the best, expensive in comparison, yes, but well worth the money.
Hi. I have just installed my Strike Alpha iPhone 6 cradle. I had the iPhone 5s cradle and it was excellent. A fast charge and solid antenna boost. Hope this helps!

I have tried a few brands over the years and by far the best one I've tried is the Strike Alpha Cradle. I think they released an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus version as well as a few others that take let you mount your phone whilst it is still in its case.
Nice cradle but no landscape orientation for maps etc? Seems very expense to not have this important feature!
yes the Strike Alpha iPhone 6 Cradle seems very expensive over 100 dollars compared to other car mount holder, although I love its other features

There is only one best car mount for iPhone period, the Kenu Air Frame.
