Will Apple Watch work with iPod Touch 5?

Hey Skryt, Any of the info I can find states iPhone 5 or newer. No mention of iPods. So I would guess the answer is no. Cheers

It is very possible that Apple could release an iPod Touch 6 this October which supports Apple Watch. Although half the goodies in the Apple Watch are designed to be used on mobile data, so your experience would be much more worth it if you had iPhone.

Just received our new iPod 6 and no Watch app. Wrote Tim Cook so we will see what happens. My wife really wants a Watch but we do not own an iPhone because we do not have cell service where we live, aka, God's Country. The Watch would provide health & fitness data. :-(((
