the songs i bought on itunes wont play on my ipod

they used to work, but i just bought a new cd from i tunes now all the songs from i tunes wont play on my ipod.

how can i fix this. im not going to "restore" and loose all my songs.

iPod does not play content purchased from the iTMS.

Why would you lose all your songs if you restored it?

You have no back up of store bought songs?

If those computers are not readily available, then yes. It's not an uncommon fix to have to restore the iPod from time to time. If the music is not readily accessible to reload back to the iPod, then it's a problem.
