I have IMAC, I got it 2 years ago. Since I updated the OS to OS X 10.9.4, the startup was really slow. I tried all the tips and all possible problem I read on the online support and still not starting up right. What could be the problem, this is really annoys me.

The startup process has several stages. Please see this support article and determine at which stage the delay happens. How long is the delay?
