I,m up and running after having to transfer all my movies off the seagate back onto the mac so i could format it fat32 (won,t show up on tv,s if its formatted for mac) and then had to transfer from mac to seagate....the console is kicking off with its usual error messages that don,t make sense....

15/09/2014 10:22:14.183 com.apple.preference.network.remoteservice[367]: FIXME: IOUnserialize has detected a string that is not valid UTF-8, "".

15/09/2014 13:26:00.023 iTunes[1081]: Failed to create replacement string

The above iTunes failure message was so important it was repeated over 1000 times in less than a second and does the same thing every time iTunes is launched.

Should i ignore the above?
