PowerBook G4 won't connect to the WiFi network

It was able to do so before, but not anymore. It isn't the actual network because other devices are working on it. I don't know what to do, Any suggestions?

PowerBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

The wi-fi security protocol (WEP, WPA/2, etc) and also the frequency set within

the wi-fi band and station matter, too. 802.11b/g is usually the upper limits of

a PowerBook G4, with a built-in or drop-in AirPort Extreme card, need checked.

With a newer base station or wireless router, the specs likely are higher; so if

the other products you use are newer, the wi-fi base station may need to have

its settings changed to accommodate the older spec wi-fi card. And be sure

the old PowerBook's System Preference>Network settings and AirPort settings

in the computer are proper. And the AirPort antenna icon is First in the list of

methods to connect to the internet in the preference window, & is activated.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
