    What are you trying to connect to? The iPad/iPhone won't connect to other iPads/iPhones or computers. The bluetooth is meant for handsfree devices and car stereos and speakers.

    I have the same issue, iPhone 5s and ipad 4th gen and neither will see another ios device via Bluetooth but will see other Bluetooth devices, phones, tablets, incar hands free.

    My iphone and ipad have both until today seen each other via Bluetooth, in fact I tether the two together.

    I restored the ipad to factory setting and had the same issue. Also restored from a backup and it's the same. Seems like an ios issue rather than hardware? Any help appreciated.

    I Had this prob but I've just discovered that personal hotspot had been turned off. Turned that back on and now it's working again and I can tether iphone and ipad again. With hotspot turned off it was seeing other Bluetooth phones, tablets etc but no ios devices.
