Voicemail installing

I have a new phone but am unable to install my voicemail. I have even tried to dial the 611 and get a recording that "the number you have dialed is not dialed correct." Updates on the I[hone are current, according to settings app.


Id appreciate any help on this.

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2

Try forcing all applications to close and power cycling the device. Test accessing your Visual Voicemail. If the issue persists, try the steps in the second article below. You may have to contact your carrier for a Visual Voicemail password reset before it will work.
