Sep 17, 2014 11:01 PM in response to Nano Tns.by crunchedd,I had the same problem, and this is how I got it to work. All the methods like putting the iDevice into DFU mode (a certain kind of restore mode basically) or restore mode won't work. If for some reason, you got stuck in between the update (like me), you may think that rolling back the iOS works, but it won't.
Reason: Apple servers are too busy with so many downloads.
There's a possibility that you might start off with the download and update, but get stuck somewhere at about 60% progress bar, because thats the time when the software is again verified with Apple servers, and since there is no response. You end up getting an error like 3014 etc.
Best solution: Wait it out!
Here the best solution, just wait it out. I know its crazy to have your phone stuck in that mode, but thats the best you can do. There are other options like using proxy to access Apple server from some other country, hoping it would be less overloaded there, but the better bet is just to wait for a few hours.
Finally after eight hours of sound sleep, I tried the update again, and voila it worked! No errors whatsoever!
Hope that helps!

Sep 18, 2014 1:08 AM in response to Nano Tns.by aasiferdous,Guys, I was having the same problem since last night and I just fixed it. Have been following this thread from the very beginning so thought to share how it got fixed.
Well download iOS 8 on your iTunes and try restoring it by connecting your iPhone to your desktop/laptop. If it fails again and again just be patient. The main reason behind it is the server. As expected everyone is trying to download iOS 8, which is actually causing the problem. I've been trying it for hours and got lucky to restore it maybe the load was not much now as it was before. So, if your phone is not restoring just wait for a while and it will surely work once the server is a bit off-loaded. I know how painful it is but all you can do now is just to wait. Hope you have backed-up all your photos and other medias as all the pictures will be deleted once you start using your iPhone/iPad/iPod. Contacts will automatically be saved on your phone if you have backed those up on iCloud.
Hope everyone gets back their devices back to normal and sorry for my English.
Cheers!

Every time i try it just says 'Error 11' and when i try to reboot it it just stays on the apple logo... and eventually the screen goes blue and the reboot process starts over again. I think i'm gonna have to get this replaced ;-;
