God Help Me-Windows Device TimeOut

guyz plz help me with this
after i took my ipod from the company yesterday they installed a new software 4 me
and everything is OK OK OK
but after i connected my ipod to the pc and the itunes launched and i started to transfer the mp3z to my ipod a Fu * problem appeard
a message that

"" Windows Device TimeOut ""
"" The specified I/O operation on \Device\harddisk2\DR12 Was not completed before the time-out period Expired ""

[Cancel][Try Again][Continue]

Please tell me what's the solution for this problem

ps: forget the choices it leads to the same meassge

I think there is somethin in the windows i have to change

i have
Windows Xp Pro Sp2

Ipod without Colors just the wheel one
=-=-=-
it's updated with the latest software
and ITunes 7 ?
Tell me now what can i do

Amd 2800+ Athelon, Windows XP Pro, 1G Ram

i usually associate that one with a dodgy USB connection.

if you try connecting the ipod to a different USB port, or using a different cable, can you get a sync to go through without the I/O error?
