Yeah we are having this problem too. We were trying to set it up so our daughter had to ask permission for purchases and it kept setting her as an adult, so we cancelled and tried again. Now the poor girl is the only one not on our family share. Please Apple unlock the limit on this while your customers learn their way. Go ahead and put a limit on the number of families you can be a member of in 6 months, after everyone has had ample time to learn their way around.

That is as bizarre restriction as I have seen. There are 50% of kids that leave with one parent during a week and another parent during weekend. Twice in 365 days is not going to work. Feedback Apple, folks.

@at the guy who's kid is family share owner - problem was when you created his account you used different age. Not entirely your fault, since you were trying to get over Apple's age restriction, but kind of funny that it bit you in the ***.

Same issue here, warning would have been great. There wont be a solution very soon, if I, family share with my wife, get all her songs, then quit go to my friend family share with him, get all his songs, quit, go to another friend, family share with him get all his songs, I would never have to pay for music again. that is why apple did the 365 days thing. I can understand the issue, but why don't they allow to re-join the last joined family sharing as many times as you like, then there's no problem apple, then you will get your music purchase money. so if I have 2 slots a year, then let me add the 2 apple id's and swap between them, then I will understand the 365 thing. or just allow 1 apple id and lock it .

Hi, i have a similar problem, but with a twist. We live in Åland, Finland (ie. it is a a self governed swedish language island, closer to Sweden than to Finland so we normally use swedish settings as much as possible).

However, we tried to invite each other to family sharing but get prompted to change country to USA. Both of us have (as far as we can understand) changed our AppleID:s to Finland, but it still does not accept our sharing invitations... And we might now be locked out as well for trying more than once...

It's been fixed for me.

As I mentioned in my earlier post I had the same problem. I waited a couple of days, tried again, and it worked!

In the meantime, I did open a support ticket via the iTunes "contact us" link. However, it appears to me that Apple may have made a change behind the scenes, separate from Support. I would suggest trying to add the "banned" email address to your Family Sharing and see if it's successful.
