I had the same problem. I fixed it by forgetting the networks I usually use. (Goto Settings > WiFi > tap the circled i next to your chosen network name > tap "Forget this network") Do this for all networks you use. Then selecting them again, enter your password and it should be fixed.

What I also did was renewed my DCHP lease and restarted my router (with network still forgotten). When router back online now sign into your network. I don't think you need to renew a lease, a router restart should do that. So, in essence, forget all networks you use. Restart router. Then sign in to previously forgotten network.

Ok so I'm not sure it this was the fix but after I turned iCloud Drive off, everything started working normally. It might just be me and k got lucky some other way but that's the only thing I've done differently and it seemed to work.

    Bardy94.

DIsabling iCloud is not really an option for me. Use it's intergration too much. If it is the issue then problem is bigger then i thought.

IF others have success with disabling iCloud please let us know.

I had to change the wireless setting of my router from 6 to 11.

Yesterday with the release of iOS 8 was one of the busiest days in internet history. So any problems could be attributed to the 100s of millions of iGadgets downloading iOS at the same time. I know Apple's servers were slow on my mac when commecting to itunes store or even their website. All I know was after I downloaded iOS 8 and did what I did mentioned above, my Speedtest app showed normal speed compared to before my fix. I think the iOS implementation for iPad was poor. Im still unsure what the change to iCloud drive does for me. Maybe I need Mac OS X 10.10, to see the benefits. Also, apps may hav not updated to utilize the iCloud drive. Aanyway I hope its as open as Dropbox on what you can store there.

After 24 hours, I think the problem is IO8's SafarI. It is iincredibly slow at rendering webpages. In other words, it's not (only) wifi. My downstream speed is 105 mb after checking on Speedtest, but Safari was still frustratingly slow.

    Well knock on wood.

I Changed my setting on my Airport Extreme Router from channel 6 to Automatic and no wifi issues since then. 24 hours and still going.

Ditto im having the same issue. iPad Air wifi slow as shiit and videos just don't load. It's so apparent I new a quick google would show people yelling the same thing. Sure enough here is the thread. What the heck are the betas for? Me thinks apple needs some new beta testers. Someone that notices if the sun is up.

I running ios on my iPad 3rd gen 64 gb with 15gb free. If I go to a webpage that has a lot of graphics such as Cnet.com and I scroll fast it has a gray screen. It's not loading fast enough. When I go into this type of website with not too much graphics it scrolls just fine. Is that what people are getting too?
