OPEN LETTER TO MR TIM COOK
Dear Mr Cook
I was once told that when there is a problem to be sorted, going to the top man is the best route. Well I have a problem .... and a lot of other people have the same problem also.
Tell me please, when the iphone 6 and 6 plus were announced to the public, why was there no mention of the havoc that Events were going to impose upon them?
This is how you described the phone:-
“iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the biggest advancements in iPhone history,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “The iPhone is the most loved smartphone in the world with the highest customer satisfaction in the industry and we are making it much better in every way. Only Apple can combine the best hardware, software and services at this unprecedented level and we think customers are going to love it."
I am a committed apple user and I cannot tell you how thrilled I was when my husband bought me the iphone 6 plus. I wanted the six plus because I am a photo freak. Then the bombshell dropped when I realised my photos were all out of sync - that there was nothing I or any of the other complainants on the net, growing day by day - could do about it because Apple simply think it is not something worth worrying about. Don't you realise that Moments and Collections are a novelty only? We - the public - want to store our Event folders in alphabetical order. It seems SNEAKY OF APPLE to try and slide Events out the back door in the way Apple is doing. It's the best way to lose customers Sir.
Please talk about this with your colleagues and address this as a matter of some urgency. In the greater scheme of things at Apple I guess it doesn't make waves but if you really mean what you said and what I have underlined above, it would be appreciated by us all.
Yours sincerely,
Linda Smith, Norfolk, UK
