Sep 22, 2014 5:56 AM in response to lancefrombremertonby texdoc,Same problem here. My Apple ID PW is rejected on a daily basis, have reset PW at least 5x. Occurs with all devices (iPhone6, iPad2, Macbook, iMac) running either iOS 7 or 8. Very frustrating.

Sep 22, 2014 6:44 AM in response to lancefrombremertonby AcePilot2000,I just got off the phone with Apple. The tech had me Reset All Network Settings, and it seems to work for now. He said the next step would be to Reset All Settings, if I'm still having issues. The weird thing for me at least, is sometimes it works and seems to log in fine, then I'll pick up my phone and keep getting a pop-up that is asking for my iCloud password. But for now, it seems to be working again. YMMV

Seeing how many people have posted to here there are probably a thousand more for each of us here who are having the same problem. Makes our iphones useless if we can't log in. Clearly we all know our Apple passwords or we wouldn't be able to post here. How could I even update my phone with the bug fix if it is disabled and I can't use it? Android anyone?

Sep 22, 2014 5:36 PM in response to lancefrombremertonby mkcp91,I just tried resetting the network settings and it still does not allow me to use my apple id for face time or iMessage. It does not recognize the password. I repeatedly tried to enter the password, which was recently changed and is correct, but it tells me I have the wrong id or password each time.

Oct 1, 2014 10:22 AM in response to pt-devby carlsone123,I went to the Apple store and we got it to work, somehow.
One tip is to disable and delete any VPN that is on your device.
I would then update to 8.0.2 and try again.
If these don't work, try changing your wifi to 'Apple Store'...
Hope you get a fix!

Oct 3, 2014 11:44 AM in response to carlsone123by charlesm1950,after installing iOS 8 I have not been able to add a new app or use icloud... every attempt rejects my password for my apple id which I have reset multiple times. I've also reset the network connection and it didn't fix the problem. Clearly my ID works or I would be able to log in here to gripe. I am frustrated enough to want to put my iPad on the shelf and wait a week and see if Apple fixes this problem.

I was having this problem here earlier.
I changed my password on my apple account on my laptop and then changed it on my iPhone 6 plus and then re-synced my phone.
iCloud suddenly lets me in with my apple password.
Not sure if this will work for anyone else??

Go into settings - iCloud
scroll down to Sign Out and confirm, you will gat a message all data will be removed from device, choose sign out.
The data will be removed form the device, but is still on iCloud
After signing out, go back in and provide the new account info, it should confirm and your new email address will appear.
Hope this works for others.

Oct 23, 2014 9:04 AM in response to lancefrombremertonby Stranded Starfish,On my brand new iPad, I restored a backup from a previous iPad and when trying to log in to iCloud it said the password was wrong, time efter time. Even if I pasted in the same password that worked for the same Apple-ID in the App Store, on the very same iPad. (The same password also worked for the same Apple-ID on my Mac). Tried changing password, rebooting, etc - nothing worked.
My solution:
I finally went to Settings/iCloud and clicked on the Apple-ID name. I got a prompt saying that the user conditions had changed, asking me to accept.
After accepting, I went back to Mail and pasted in the very same password (that was still in memory) and it worked directly - problem solved!
