Oct 23, 2014 1:13 PM in response to lancefrombremertonby Pierrre,Just want to leave an update - as this is happening daily for me as well. Today I did the "reset network settings" and it worked perfectly right after. As mentioned above, go to settings->Reset->Reset Network Settings - once it cycles through, everything just worked. I am on 8.1.

Hey Microsoft, I mean Apple, how about releasing updates that don't mess up my phone. It should not require resetting ANYTHING when I download the latest OS to access my phone. Nice how my passcode is not being recognized. Looks like there are a ton of people experiencing this. Maybe release a fix ASAP. Or watch your market share continue to slip against Android phones. Ugh!

I'm not using iCloud and I have no intention of using iCloud ever. Now how the F do I reset the **** paperweight. I see nothing in iTunes. This is a company phone and honestly, I am thinking of just having the company get me an Android phone if Apple releases beta versions for us users to be the guinea pigs.

Oct 24, 2014 11:53 AM in response to vibewayby MCvsPC,This seems to be a bug that locks your account after upgrading. I didn't have to reset my password but unlocking the account was sufficient via https://iforgot.apple.com/.

Oct 27, 2014 6:45 AM in response to lancefrombremertonby PatBrazee,My wife's phone won't log into iCloud. My phone uses her iCloud settings, and I logged into it as well as our computers' iCloud with no problem. But hers won't log on. The bad thing is, I deleted her contacts in an attempt to update them with the iCloud version. (I guess I'll go restore her backup).
I keep using the same ID & password. Her phone won't go to the reset password screen on Safari either.

Oct 27, 2014 6:56 AM in response to PatBrazeeby Howard Brazee,Logged in as myself this time (I was logged in as her, testing the iCloud account).
I wouldn't have been able to restore her contacts - I can't restore a phone without turning off "Find my iPhone", and I can't turn off "Find my iPhone" if I can't log onto iCloud. A catch 22.
However, shutting down her iPhone all the way and restarting it was sufficient to fix the problem.

Oct 27, 2014 8:39 PM in response to Howard Brazeeby macforme,My new iPad Air 2 just arrived in the mail today and I am stuck at the "wrong password" b.s. I know it's correct as I logged into iCloud via my computer just fine. I don't want to resent my password, what a pain in the ***.
I'll keep trying with my current password. I too tried "find my iPhone and find my IPad" and both found just fine with the password I know. So this is really frustrating as I can't get beyond the set-up screen.
I posted this question on the iPad forum too and tried calling Apple Support only they are now closed.

Oct 28, 2014 5:37 PM in response to lancefrombremertonby Ihatestupidapplestuff,Same issue here. IPad air totally useless. Cannot get passed login to icloud screen. Powered off multiple time, reset password online several times. . Stupid thing will not work. . I'm a very happy Android user. Never had an issue as big or as annoying.

Oct 29, 2014 9:42 AM in response to Ihatestupidapplestuffby Stranded Starfish,Have you tried this:
Go to Settings/iCloud and click on the Apple-ID name and then accept the new user conditions. Then try logging in to iCloud again with the same password.
It worked for me.
Btw, disable Restrictions first if iCloud is greyed out under Settings.

Nov 7, 2014 1:06 AM in response to lancefrombremertonby Nissenorsk,I have the same problem with my Ipad and Iphone 5s. What to do?? Is it a bug or what?!
-
Nov 9, 2014 3:10 PM in response to Nissenorskby maryannfrommonroe,I'm having the same problem with my iPhone 5S today although it had worked fine using the same PW until late yesterday. I, too, am 100% positive I have the correct PW as I can sign in on my Ipad and on the Apple site. If you find out what to do, please post to me. Thanks.

Nov 12, 2014 2:09 PM in response to maryannfrommonroeby phuemmer,I had issues similar to this and the root cause appears to have been using capital letters in my iCloud username when logging into iCloud. After trying every troubleshooting idea this is what ultimately solved it for me:
1. Log out of iCloud.
2. Restart device.
3. Log back into iCloud using all lowercase letters for the username. (The password is still case sensitive)

Nov 19, 2014 3:43 PM in response to lancefrombremertonby kevski692000,All is well now after Yosemite latest updates. Set up iCloud anew as instructed after clicking name on iCloud pane in preferences. Whoopee!
At last!. Good luck with that. ( Rotten Apple )
That fixed facetime lockout as well. So far that is..............

Nov 30, 2014 8:50 AM in response to Stranded Starfishby Notapplesbiggestfan,I cant get it to prompt for the terms and conditions?.... it keeps asking for password verification for icloud or apple account. It claims the password is incorrect when it clearly isn't as can log in via my laptop fine etc. Was told by support to go and see "genius" team in apple store who recommended I replace the ipad for a £250 fee. So Apple's useless iOS update renders my ipad unusable and I'm expected to cough up!!! This company is really not long for existence.....my daughter has a nexus 7 (2013) and it completely outperforms the ipad. I'm fed up wasting so much time fixing apple's screw-ups. Given the number of people with his issue why haven they posted a solution? They are exhibiting the classic corporate greed mentality now......I'm thinking Nokia oblivion in less than 5 years for such an arrogant organisation

Feb 11, 2015 9:26 AM in response to lancefrombremertonby JetSheba83,I was having the same problem after upgrading to iOS 8, non-stop iCloud password requests, and this fixed it for me. iCloud: "Incorrect Apple ID or Password" alert when setting up iCloud after upgrading to iOS 7 - Apple Support
It's for iOS 7, but again, it worked for me after the problem cropped up in iOS 8. Hope it helps!
