IOS 8 Airplay Mirror Missing - iPad Air

Hi Guys,

I cannot seem to get Airplay Mirroring working on my iPad Air that was upgraded to IOS8.

I can see the AirPlay setting and the Apple TV but I cannot enable mirroring because the switch does not appear.

I have tested the same Apple TV with both an iPhone 5 running iOS 8 and another iPad's running IOS7 and they seems to work fine.

Things i have tried without success -

I have restored my iPad

I have restored my iPad without restoring a backup.

I have erased all content

Is there anything that I have to do to get the mirror option to appear?

Regards,

Tarek

I also have this problem with iPad mini retina, no mirroring button. My iPhone 5 with ios 8 works fine and has the button, but my iPad Mini does not. I can get a few video apps to work, but my home screens and several of my video mixer apps, VJAY, and others no longer work.

Where is the mirroring button? IOS 8 has a problem and is not working right at this point, over 4 hours spent, and it does not work. Apple please fix this now!
