    Hey Everyone,

I got tired of wifi coming in and out of the mini so i did a factory reset.

I had issues with taking off Find my Iphone since i couldnt get wifi connected kept getting icloud verification failed.
Reboot mini and finally got the wifi to work long enough to take off Find my Iphone

Once I got it and used my latest backup with iOS 8 installed to setup the mini.

It seemed to fix everything for now even though the backup I used was the very one that was having issues.

I was able to stream twitch.tv all night. But there were some lag issues, but i think thats just from the app itself.

Hopefully theres a fix that comes out soon or maybe I got lucky.

    Good luck everyone!

How do you delete "all" of them? The only thing I know how to do is tell it to "forget" a particular network.

Every device I have updated from iPhone 5s to three different models of iPads have all had extremely frustrating wifi issues. After trying to join the devices to the very same network from which they downloaded the ios 8 software, they refuse to connect. The network and the router are not the problem. After several reboots on each device, resetting the network settings and forgetting the network, the only thing that has worked is manually setting the IP address, subnet, gateway and DNS. After setting all of those they will "connect" but they do not have internet service. I then have to go back to DHCP and after waiting about a half an hour, the devices will connect to the network. Even then the connection is very spotty and will drop often. Everything else I have in the building has no problems connecting to this network and I have had no problems before yesterday with any iDevice connecting.

Is anyone else experiencing wifi issues after upgrading? The iPads without cellular service are basically bricked without being able to connect to a network.

unless you 'reset network settings' as i did, afaik forget them using 'one by one' or a full reset is the only other options.

really pleased your sorted, factory reset will obviously also crear out WiFi network settings

been real handy if you had tried to only reset network settings first, if that worked it would add 'authority' to my suggested fix.

I'm waiting for the stream of help calls from family, freinds and clients, they know i love my Apple 'pips' and if they upgrade with issues, it will be me gets the calls - and likely sworn at like its my fault lol!

give it a while, if it was close to full it has less room to work in, so likely it is shunting memory usage around.

if not it will be a 'hard reset and restore' next step (google it), not what i would do for at least 3 hours as it could just risk corrupting the iOS.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

It will reboot your mini as well.

I have an iPad mini iPhone 5 and iPad 2. The only device I am having problems with is the iPad 2. It is very slow now even pulling up an app or the keyboard lags. My Wi-Fi connection is very slow after update to tried resetting router. It is taking over an he to update Apple's numbers and pages apps. Hopefully there is a fix for this. I don't want to buy a new iPad air now as I am hoping for a new release soon later this yr

Just to chime in, I also had issues with the wifi after the ios 8 update on my iPad mini with retina. It would always show as connected but I could only get internet access rarely. I followed the suggestion to reset network settings and after another reboot it seems to be working fine.

I updated my iPad its the old model, half the apps won´t load it´s become sluggish I can barely sswipe between screens and am just fed up so am just gonna throw it in a cupboard for the next one month and update it once whatever bugs are fixed ... I wonder why apple can´t just release things complete ... I pity those who buy the first iPhones tommorow

I have an iPad mini without retina display and it is definitely going slower since upgrading to iOS 8. I notice even loading pages over fast wifi (50mpbs) it's still noticeably slower than it was before upgrading.

Same problem in my ipad air wifi+cellular after upgrading to the ios 8 ... Connecting the ipad to ad hoc connections doesn't work as well! I had to downgrade to ios 7.1.2 before it's too late!

goingby a consensus of positive replies since i suggested it after curing mine, resetting your network settings seems the most reliable answer.

MODS! - be an idea to make it a 'sticky' perhaps?
