I just upgraded to iOS8, and now game center is enabled and wants to replace my Clash of Clans village with one of my kids' villages. In iOS7 I signed out of Game Center and disabled it. Now, it seems to be enabled despite my not being signed in. How can I completely disable it?

Settings>game center> tap your Apple ID and tap sign out.
