Can't login to iCloud control panel for Windows

I've tried several times but it is always the same. I downloaded iCloud for windows and open it up.

It asks me for my apple ID and password (which I do enter correctly) and then try to login.

That is as far as I can go. It just shows a loading symbol but it doesn't open at all. I've left it alone for a good length of time and still nothing.

Any advice for sorting this? Thanks
