iPhone 5 iOS 8 Bluetooth issues with Audi A1

Apon upgrading to ios8 my iPhone connects to my cars bluetooth car kit(Audi A1 2012) but every time I place a call from my car the call drops from my car and i am only able to speak on my phone. Sometimes as my phone connects to the bluetooth kit my car dials the last number in my call log but in fact its not calling at all it just says it is on my cars display...

Please if anyone is having the same issue or knows what to do

I'm experiencing very similar problems.

My iPhone 5S connects to my car (Nissan Qashqai) but I cannot make calls via bluetooth.

My partner has an iPhone 5 and cannot even connect to her car (Mini), Both phones worked perfectly with both of the cars before the iOS 8 update.

The annoying thing about this issue is that you would expect nowadays that connecting to your car's Bluetooth system is a fundamental feature supported across all phone hardware. I certainly hope that Apple addresses this issue quickly.

Very disappointed!

Works perfectly fine with my Ford sync.

Apple does not make any of the hands free stuff in your car.

Iit's not Apple's responsibility to ensure the iPhone works with any manufacturers product.

Contact the maker of the hands free stuff or automobile manufacturer who sold it to you and ask when they are going to provide a firmware update to their equipment.

I also disagree that it's a problem for the car manufacturers. The manufacturers of phones and cars must conform to the relevant protocols specified in the Bluetooth standards. I think this is definitely a bug that will eventually be fixed in an update. According to the media today there is already acknowledgement of a bug in HealthKit which will be addressed soon so hopefully any subsequent update will address this issue.
