Sep 22, 2014 7:41 AM in response to dsjankelowby K1ngJoe,Yep! I am having the same problem. It not only happens with my Car, it happens when i connect to any device using Bluetooth connection.
When i connect with my Mercedes Benz Bluetooth, it dials the last number i called.
When i connect with my Bluetooth headphone, although it "Connects", it does not output any sound to the headphone.
Thank you!

Sep 22, 2014 8:25 AM in response to tivadarby mimed,I tried everything.
First, Reset Network Settings.
Then, Reset All Settings.
Finally, I installed iOS8 from scratch. Clean phone. And nothing.
I'm able to listen to music using Bluetooth in my car, but no audio when I make or receive calls.

Sep 22, 2014 11:30 AM in response to mimedby IPK,Definitely it's a bug that seems to be fixed sometimes by doing a network reset or just a reset...this is also preventing pebble watch to show incoming call.

Sep 22, 2014 1:30 PM in response to jenjenczby 1stRealty,Thank you so much. It was quite confusing, here is my take on it:
Tried it in an Audi R8 and a Tesla, with the same results.
Worked fine with IOS 7 and Iphone 5 and 5s.
Worked fine with IOS 8 and Iphone 5.
Worked NOT, with the Iphone 6, in neither car.
Followed this one:
"reset network settings" didn't help, but after "reset all settings" my iPhone worked again perfectly in my car. I even didn't need to re-pair the phone and the car. Thanks for the tip!
AWESOME, thank you. Hope you all can figure it out, thought we are going nuts!

Sep 22, 2014 2:09 PM in response to teddybear1216by Ryan007,I'm having the exact same problem with an iPhone 6 Plus and an VW Golf. It will pair, then when I initiate a call it will drop the call from the car but continue the call on the phone. When I reconnect the phone to the car, the car thinks the phone is on two calls, even though it is not.

Sep 22, 2014 2:27 PM in response to dsjankelowby Donkas,Same issue here with an Audi A4. As soon as the phone connects, the car display shows an incoming call even though the phone is inactive. Trying to make any calls results in bluetootth disconnecting and the call only being on the phone. Tried repairing with no success. I then reset network settings and reset the phone setup on the car andi could then make calls via the car but initial connection still showed the phantom incoming call and any calls I made connected corrected but shoed the wrong recipient on the car display.
Finally, doing a reset all settings on the phone and repairing fixed everything. Something with the IOS 8 screwed this up but the reset all settings fixed it.

Sep 22, 2014 2:32 PM in response to dsjankelowby Michael Ginsberg,I saw exactly the same problem with my 2014 Ford Explorer. It was consistently doing this after upgrading to iOS8.
I was going to do some debugging with my wife's iPhone who was still on iOS 7. After connecting with her phone, which worked perfectly, it completely fixed things when I connected with my iOS8 device (which previously couldn't connect).
So try it and see if it works for you - connect with some other device and then try your iOS8 after.

Sep 22, 2014 7:54 PM in response to dsjankelowby McMax9792,Problem solved.
I have a 2014 Audi Q5. A new iPhone 6 would sync to the car, but either of two problems would occur. Either 1) I could use Bluetooth for calls but would not have any audio whatsoever while iPhone 6 was synced, or 2) the car would "phantom" dial a random number from my iPhone contacts and when I dialed a number, it would then ring once then drop from the car--meanwhile the call would continue on the iPhone.
After deleting and re-syncing over and over, resetting network settings, hard reboot of the iPhone, nothing worked. So, I got on Apple Chat today with a support rep who suggested it might be a corrupt operating system on the iPhone 6. So, he had me backup my iPhone to iTunes. Then, within iTunes, we did a "Restore iPhone." It took about 30 minutes. Then, he instructed that when the iPhone 6 restarted, do nothing to restore the backup or set up any network or wireless, etc. First thing was to try Bluetooth syncing with the car. And lo and behold, it worked. It seems like everything is working fine. Thank goodness.
Now, I just have to slowly restore my backup into my iPhone. I'm hoping to be able to do it piecemeal. If not, I might just have to re-set up the iPhone 6 by hand.
