Oct 26, 2014 1:37 AM in response to dsjankelowby maca02,For me the issue is gone on iOS 8.1. My VW Golf mk6 with RCD510 works for both incoming and outgoing calls. I unpaired the devices and removed phone from the rcd510 device and paired both again. I'm happy and saying it works like a charm!

Nov 13, 2014 7:09 AM in response to dsjankelowby Nuttyjnr67,Hey there,
I have exactly the same issue with my iPhone 5s on IOS 8.1 My iPhone connects to my cars bluetooth car kit(Mazda 6 2010) but every time I place a call from the phone (via siri or home button) my car the call drops from my car and i am only able to speak on my phone. Sometimes as my phone connects to the bluetooth kit my car dials the last number in my call log but in fact its not calling at all it just says it is on my cars display. If I start the call from the cars contact list it works fine. This has only started happening since IOS 8 and above. Apple need to address this urgently.

Nov 13, 2014 7:14 AM in response to Nuttyjnr67by Donkas,If you are on 8.1 then just unpair your iPhone from your car, turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone and close out the settings app. Go back into Bluetooth and repair to your car.
If the issue remains, you may need to go to settings\reset\reset all settings. A small pain but it should be fixed after this. The issue is resolved in 8.1 but may need a 'kick' to get working again.

Nov 13, 2014 8:28 AM in response to Donkasby Nuttyjnr67,Hi,
I am sorry to tell you that I am still get the connection issue when dialling via the home button/Siri. Basically, the phone dials but reverts back to the phone speaker rather than the car speakers.
Below are the steps I have followed:-
1) Deleted phone pairing from car system
2) Removed car pair from iPhone
3) Performed a 'reset all' on the iPhone
4) Followed paring procedure to repair the iPhone
any more ideas or suggestions would be most welcome as I need to have a reliable connection in the car.

Nov 13, 2014 8:38 AM in response to Nuttyjnr67by Donkas,Check under Bluetooth devices and see if you have any hand off devices i.e. other iOS devices or Macs showing up. If you do and you don't use Handoff, disable handoff on all these devices and go through the steps again to pair with the car.

Handoff is enabled but I do not generally use it. I have checked and there are no other devices showing up.

Nov 13, 2014 8:57 AM in response to Donkasby Nuttyjnr67,Hi,
Sorry, it also happens if I select a phone number from within contacts or previously dialled numbers. It seems to be any call that is initiated from the device rather than the car phone system.

Nov 13, 2014 3:27 PM in response to Nuttyjnr67by Donkas,I tried initiating a call in the car from my iPhone tonight and it worked fine. I have had no problems at all since 8.1 so not sure why you are still affected.
