Sep 19, 2014 6:22 PM in response to dsjankelowby Devon Aylen,So I'm not the only one?!
I recently upgraded from my aging iPhone 4 to a 6. Everything seems to be working fine except using Bluetooth with Siri. I make a lot of use of voice commands as I do a lot of commuting, so far everything seems to be working except when I ask Siri to play something from my library. Whenever I ask Siri to play something it's played through the iPhone speaker. I figured I'd just have to change the default speaker in the Music app however this option was no where to be found like it was on my iPhone 4. I almost wanted to think there was a new hardware incompatibility, however if I initiated playing music from my car stereo controls or manually from my iPhone it would play through just fine.
I should note here asking to place a call, message etc all come through my stereo when I use Siri. Also, this issue does not occur when Siri is turned off.
TLDR; Siri will play everything through my BT except music. Music can be played by manual means.
I'm using an aftermarket 2012 JVC deck.

Sep 20, 2014 5:57 AM in response to ivancccby ob1mac,that's indeed what you've got to do. Both delete pairing and rebuild it and reset network settings!

Sep 20, 2014 6:53 AM in response to dsjankelowby TSnow1,Same problem here: 2011 Ford Edge, 2009 Mercedes E350. iPhone5 worked fine with both cars and IOS 7.1.2 (AT&T). iPhone 5 with IOS 8 now fails to make calls and has phantom call on the screen. Got the iPhone 6 connected and same problem with IOS 8. Deleted every profile and re-paired with both cars. Still have the same problem.
To those who said this was not an Apple problem, you are completely wrong. This is an Apple problem and I hope they fix it ASAP.

Sep 20, 2014 7:05 AM in response to TSnow1by ob1mac,I think the problem is IOS 8 related.
I think you will be able to solve this by:
1. resetting network settings on your iPhone (under Settings > General)
2. delete the pairing, both on iPhone and in car system;
3. create new pairing
This should do it! Hope it works for you!

Sep 20, 2014 7:12 AM in response to dsjankelowby jsl1360,I am having the exact problem with my Audi S5. This happens when I get an incoming call as well. The Audi MMI gives no option to answer the call. It just gives and option to end the call although the phone is still ringing and I have not even answered it.
