Restore as new using a iTunes and a PC or Mac that will install a full clean installation of iOS8

so your saying "wipe" the I device and start over?

I Up graded using wifi. somethings were not working right so I had to back up my device and start again. So now it's running ios8 properly and still can't use hdmi cable. Really annoying when you can't connect to tv to watch movies.

I downloaded it as well and now I can barely text on my iPhone 4s. 😟

I'm having the same problem, but I'm on a 5s! My apps barley work and it's super slow. However, I'm of the opinion that this is typical Apple bull s**t, to try and make people with older phones buy the new one.

No Apple have never supported the downgrading of iOS. If you have upgraded to iOS8 then that is what your phone is set to by default. All your firmware was upgraded as well. Try some troubleshooting tips on these forums. As yet I have neither had nor seen any issues with iOS8 on any devices, even the older devices such as iPhone4S and iPad2

Yes - you connect to iTunes and then you restore your phone as new instead of from a backup, but if you already have iOS 8 installed on the phone, then restoring as new will still restore iOS 8 and NOT iOS 7 - it's not possible to go back once you have gone forward.

Unfortunately, Apple does not support their older versions of iOS, it may take you a while to like the new iOS 8 software, but if you think deeply there are a lot of features you can use that are handy in everyday life.

I am having problems and i Have a 4s and an IPad Air. I can't make calls from my phone. I also can't connect in my car on bluetooth. My Ipad which i have never had any problems with just freezes and then shuts down. It is Very frustrating and I can only hope they come out with a fix SOON. I was going to go get a 6 this weekend but now i'm kind of hearing bad things about it as well.
