Is it recommended to install ios 8 on iphone 4s?Is it working fine

IIam waiting for someone to answer the same question I have read a few articles saying no as it runs very slow

Me too, am waiting to see what you all say about IOS 8 on 4s. Does it run slow?
Will it spoil a perfectly good phone?

It's a bit slower than the most recent version of iOS7, but perfectly usable. And it comes with lots of nice new features.
Only feature I have found that doesn't work is the Battery Usage by App.
I have just installed ios 8 on my iphone 4s.Its awesome.Yes some of the features u wont get like slo-mo,handsoff,burst mode but still the keyboard,photos app,camera app . all are nice.Loved it.Regarding the performance,Yes its bit slow(fraction secs cmprd to ios 7.1.2) only in opening 2 3 apps like safar,email etc.You can use it,its not dat slow as u r getting reviews frm different sites.Considering the low end processor it works fine.The battery usage by app,full screen caller id i liked very much.
Its upto you ,u can install or not
