Q: I have installed flash drive 10 or more times but am still told I need to update. What now?

I have installed Adobe flash to upgrade as the computer tells me to. It does not seem to install but does tell me it is. I still can not play things from Facebook or games. It keeps telling me to upgrade Flash drive. I have 10 or more times. What now?

MacBook Pro, iOS 7.1.2

    I had the same problem about 10 days ago  I was using Safari at the time Technical Support only advice was to install another web browser I opted for Firefox and it downloaded flash drive fine so it is/was obviously and issue with Safari. I still use Safari for most of my browsing but if I need to use a page with flash drive I switch to Fire fox.
