iOS8 - Strange diagnostic logs? (WATCHDOG)

I installed the iOS 8 on my phone and came across the new location of the diagnostic / data usage (in privacy now). I realized I had very few error logs that started with stacks + backboardd and date of the error. When I looked at the error logs, they seem to come around every hour or so, even when the phone is sleeping and doing nothing. The error messages all contain something to the effect:

These errors appear with frequency in my 5S, who were both new installations. Everything on the phone seems to be working, but I'm curious to know if anyone is getting this? I tried searching around, but I'm having trouble finding anyone else noticed this?

What services of the system that actually need to be activated? Anybody know so you can save battery drain.

Tks

Apple know about that. They received every log when we sync device with iTunes. We can contact apple support chat. But they have no rights and knowledge in my opinion.

Problem is still here even on clear restored iphone and ipad. all system services is on. See this problem from 8 GM. Restoring to final version didn't help. They are the same in fact. Geolocation services is off. Problem is here 😎. hope we need 8.0.1 not 8.2.4 🙂

I have two iPads, iPhone5, iPod touch. All have this problem now and are heating up like mad, apps opening on their own, batteries draining really fast due to HUGE error data strings. I have done hard resets on all, the problem just returns. NOBODY at Apple seems to have a clue as to how to deal with this. At first, I even got a replacement phone thinking that was the problem! Verizon knew nothing, Apple support has "never heard of such an issue". Have an appointment to take the devices to my local Apple store tomorrow, but after reading here, I figure that will be a futile endeavor, however, if I get any good info, I will report back with it.
