Sep 18, 2014 6:39 AM in response to Chris Pby léonie,★HelpfulApple's Support page does not say anything about published Journals, see this guide:
Migrating from iPhoto for iOS to Photos on iOS 8 http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6290
From the questions we have seen here, the journals will stay on your iCloud homepage. But there is no way at all to edit them or remove them.
It would be much saver, if you save your Journal as a web page to iTunes before you migrate.
http://help.apple.com/iphoto/ipad/2.0/#blnkaf3ef70a
This will write the journal as a folder of html documents and you can upload them to an FTP server of your choice.
If you just leave the journals online before you migrate, you may never again be able to delete them.
