Oct 21, 2014 12:00 AM in response to Katoooooby enjoylife1788,iPad Air looks on 8.1 much more stable than the 8.0.2. Finally the iPad Air works as it should.

Oct 21, 2014 3:54 AM in response to veera4uby psu1989,After restore, from Recovery mode, mine was good for a few days then started rebooting again (i have never had a blue screen). Upgraded to 8.1 last night and it rebooted several times within the first hour. I plan to do another recovery mode restore today and see what happens.
To those who blame Safari, i disagree as I rarely use Safari and have seen crashes after confirming Safari was not running.

Oct 21, 2014 6:12 AM in response to Techno_funkyby blueyis,LLike a number of others, I have upgraded to 8.1, from 8.02, and so far no BSOD with 4 hours use. Previously would have had at least 4 restarts. I hope it stays this way.

Oct 21, 2014 10:14 AM in response to Techno_funkyby Bo Boivie,Upgraded and restored from backup. Still crashes with 8.1. Will try a fresh install (again). It just doesn't work

Oct 21, 2014 11:05 AM in response to Techno_funkyby Birju.,I am very happy. Not a single restart in 8 hours.. I know the patter, tried provoking BSOD but iOS 8.1 has solved it as apple promised. I was planning clean install but later thought first try OTA, if it doesn't work I wud recover.
but it worked completely fine..
unfortunately few guys still hv issues.
my observation so far:
- OTA update seems to solve this issue completely.
- Restore after updating to 8.1 is not working...
so,
- perform update OTA (u wil need 2.3 gb free space to update)
- if doing a clean install, follow process for recovery mode, download clean 8.1 from apple through iTunes and update. BUT DONT restore from backup. it seems to screw it up again... just have a clean install of all apps.

Oct 21, 2014 11:15 AM in response to Bo Boivieby SunilThakkar,Bo boivie... If ios 8.1 didn't solve it for you... I would recommend taking it to the apple service centre and asking for a replacement... Remember BSOD can also be triggered due to hardware issues... have it checked... It's not worth breaking your head further with restores...
for me on both my devices iphone and iPad air... Ios 8.1 has solved the blue screen crashes... Both updated over the air... 100mb download...
