how will i know if apple denied warranty replacement

Ive heard alot of horror stories that apple refuses to replace or fix phones ipads etc... under warranty and im just curious as to how i would know if my repair is going thru or if anyone knows what it would say on the repair status page ?? Im just curious bc i have been waiting a while without a phone and if anyone knows if they will email me saying your phone cannot be replaced etc... or if the repair status thingy will say something

On that page ( I am showing you mine - where I have no pending issues ) there is a pane on the right side that has two 'Folder-Like' icons - when you click one, it will open up another detail of that topic showing all current activity. If they are grayed out like mine, that means you have nothing in that system.

If you took your iPhone to the Genius Bar at the AppleStore, call the AppleStore and ask them your warranty question (they really should have told you up front, as they are very knowledgeable and helpful)

the closest apple store to me was over 4 hours away so i really didnt have an option but to send it in and i went thru a bunch of crazyness doing that they told me over the phone to go to ups store which was closer but still an hour from my house with a number i brought the number to ups they couldnt recognize it then they kept it saying maybe it didnt process i find out 2 days later i had to ship it via fedex lol but ty very much im going to try this now 🙂

you should contact the "they" to which you refer - in other words, start where you started before - calling the AppleStore 4-hours away? Talk to the same person if you can.

what exactly are going to "try"? - i say again, start over

the 1-800 apple number is who they is that told me to go to the ups store and i tried the page you told me to go to and i registered my phone online its not showing any repairs oh well.... i shipped the phone they have it hopefully i will find something out soon Im just curious as to how to track and see whats going on with it

you said you ended up shipping via FedEx? Is it possibly still in transit?

You surely have the 'waybill' (the sender's copy of the label on the package).

Go here - http://www.fedex.com/us/track/ - and put the tracking number in the box on the left side and click [Track]

It will tell you a lot.

thank you im new to this lol but i finally figured it out i went to the repair thingy put in the number they emailed me and it says product recieved by service center, then service completed, and now it says step 3 return replacement product shipped via fed ex so im going to assumed they didnt fix my phone??? they just sent me a different one?

Ok ty i cannot believe they processed this so quickly and thats why im not seeing any repairs on my account. Well thank you guys and hopefully theres no surprises when i get my phone back tomorrow lol
