Sep 26, 2014 8:56 AM in response to adriennefromwashingtonby rachel296,Installed 8.0.2 this morning but my friend "No Service" is back. All I need to do to restore service it tap iCloud in settings so its a pretty quick fix but way frustrating for someone who uses an iPad as a phone.

Sep 26, 2014 11:28 AM in response to regalturnerby Lmaris,Glad you are satisfied, but it does nothing for WiFi, and what caused the issues for the rest of us are still ongoing: iOS 8 itself.

Sep 27, 2014 7:17 AM in response to adriennefromwashingtonby LQ_Steve,Had same issue with my iPad 2/iOS 8.0.2 and have seemingly fixed by turning off "iPhone Cellular Calls" in the FaceTime settings menu. Perhaps there's a conflict with having two mobile numbers work off the single device?

Sep 27, 2014 7:20 AM in response to LQ_Steveby Tuv,Ok so now (after upgrading to .02) the cell service lasted a couple of days without interruption. However, this morning I had the dreaded "no service". One good thing though is that I did not have to do a full reset of network settings which was the temporary fix last time around (which was a pain). This time a full power on/off did the trick. Somehow a slight improvement. Apple are you listening??? Otherwise I would agree that the iPad 2 is a little smother. It is also remembering my selection of the third party keyboard (most of the time). However, I suspect that another "fix" must be on the way because my iphone 5 is still having a hard time keeping the selection of Swiftkey engaged.

Sep 27, 2014 9:21 AM in response to ARKed68by lilbuba,I have the same problem- the only way I can get cellular service is to turn off completely and then turn back on.

Sep 27, 2014 9:32 AM in response to adriennefromwashingtonby dougster1,SSometimes mine fixes itself, like after a simple sync with my compute. Rebooting has always fixed it for me, bu 8.2 did not seem to solve anything.

Then...
Retrieved new password from my email
Logged back into my Cellular account using the new password
