System extension cannot be used warning
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), imac intel duo. Snow Leopard. Ipod
Open the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript/ folder and run the following:
do shell script "chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext" with administrator privileges
You may then need to restart the computer.

Open the Terminal in your Utilities folder. At the prompt paste the following command line:
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Systems/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext
Press RETURN. Enter your admin password when prompted. It does not echo to the screen so type carefully. Press RETURN again.
Restart the computer.
No such file or directory is returned in the terminal when trying Neil and Kappy script.
I used the following method . I deleted the offending file from the systems folder . And then replaced the Itunes with 11.4.
This seems to be working , no pop up yet.
