Cannot Update Apps After iOS 8 Upgrade

Ever since I updated to iOS 8 I've been having issues updating my apps through the App Store app on my iPad 3rd gen. Even though I'm logged in and slect Update All, the apps won't update. On the home screen each app to be updated will be faded and have "Waiting..." beneath it. No matter how long I wait it will not update.


I close the app and open it again and select the option to stop updating (this wasn't an option before I closed and then opened the App Store). On the home screen it will show the blue dot by the apps as if they were updated, but they haven't.


Is anyone else having the same issue?

Is there a way to fix this?
