Sep 19, 2014 11:51 AM in response to samfromquebecby Cape Ann,I Initially had the same problem with my IPad Air. After installing iOS8, I couldn't find my HP Envy AirPrint printer. I reset my iPad, by holding down the on/off button and home button until the Apple logo reappears. I then checked that my printer had the latest HP software update, and restarted it too. Now it works fine. My wife never had any problem finding the HP with her iPhone 5s after the 8 update. Hope this works for you.

Sep 19, 2014 3:09 PM in response to MADeanby SPMizmiz,I had the same problem with iOS8: printer was listed, but sending something from Notes would send the printer into a perpetual data-light-blinking-but-no-printing scenario.
I restarted the iPad and now it's working (I printed from both Notes and Pages).

Sep 19, 2014 3:52 PM in response to SPMizmizby SueMac ,I restarted my IPad and found it just takes time to hook up with the printer. It used to be immediate. At least it's working now.

Sep 24, 2014 11:09 AM in response to PFJ30by SueMac ,I Was having the same problem. I did a restart on my IPad (3rd generation) and it's working great now.
Restarting IPad
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
1. Re-setting: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data.
2. On my iPad I wait a minute and then press both buttons again to wake it up. (It doesn't do it automatically. It did on my iPad2)
