Bug in IOS 8 'Quick Response to Notification'

I am also facing the same problem. The message I was trying to type was disappeared from the screen and its not saved no where as a draft. Apple has to resolve this issue. Good find.

have you guys heard of issues with the keyboard not showing for quick reply?

I'm having all type of issues with the Keyboard and quick response. The keyboard doesn't show sometimes. Other times the message doesn't send. Even in the regular messages app, a message has sent to a completely different person than I was texting bc I had an incoming text. I have some glitches on my iPad also. I feel like this is the worst experience that I have had with ios since the beginning. I hope these issues are resolved and soon.

When I pull the notification banner to reply or when I slide the notification on the homescreen to reply I get a space to reply and the keyboard but the keyboard and the microphone don't repond to touch. So I am unable to respond to any message.

When I try to pull down on the imessage banner to quick reply, nothing happens. My phone freezes all the time. iOS 8 should not be this awful on a 5C. I hate it.

This is the problem that I'm having. The keyboard just isn't responsive. Apple shouldn't have these many problems, I feel like I have an Android phone.

Since IOS 8.0.2 the keyboard doesn't show up all the time now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having keyboard issues. How do we get Apple to look at this? Yes going from portrait to landscape mode when in iMessage, the screen can lag...sometimes the keyboard looks all jacked up, like half width.....sometimes when typing a response to someone the keys just don't respond to touch. The only way to get it to work is to close out/swipe out iMessage. It's been extremely annoying.

I reported it to support from chat, and now they are going to ring me at today, hopefully they actually do something this time. In IOS 8 the keyboard used to be grayed out, since 8.0.2 the keyboard no longer shows up

oh, and tonight when opening imessage to send a text, when I rotate my phone to landscape mode, my screen blanks out for a second and then comes back. 8.02......what an awesome update 😠

My keyboard just doesn't show up and it is frustrating because I just got my iPhone 6 two days ago and the new iOS 8 is having issues on my new phone

Drives me nuts. Along with iOS repeatedly becoming unresponsive, and the fact that even though a url is selected when tapped in Safari iOS, one still must tap, and select all to cut or copy. Everyone experiencing this should leave feedback to Apple. https://www.apple.com/feedback/

I am also having similar problems. iphone 5S iOS 8.1.3

sometimes when I do quick reply to a message the keyboard does not show up, other times the keyboard appears but I can not click any keys or the microphone. But any time they keyboard does happen to appear and is working if I click outside of the text box the message is instantly erased. That's not so much a problem with me as the fact that more than half the time the keyboard doesn't even appear.

I have the same issue all the time, when I try to reply from the notification the keyboard never shows, yet I get a flashing cursor to reply to the text message. I am on version 8.3 and for me it just started on this version. Restarting the phone fixes it only for a short time and by the end of the day its broke again.

Hello apple I have the same problem like them. My iphone 5 ios 8.3 having problem in quick reply message banner when i pull down to reply to a message the keyboard does not show up and sometimes when the keyboard appears i can not click any keys. When I restart the phone or reset it fixes only for a short time after few minutes its broke again. Please fix this. Thank you
