Invitee responses stuck under iOS 8

same Inbox problem here, and not only that: When I accepted/added the recurring event, Calendar sent out invitations to every other participant, indicating that I was the "organizer." Not true, and not cool.

Same issue here. I've tried removing/readding my calendar. I've even shut off the notifications for invitee replies, but still get the notifications for them, and can't remove them. Has anyone found a solution here? Very annoying.

also having the same issue. extremely annoying. only way I can clear is by deleting and reloading calendar

anyone know how to disable the invitee response completely? I don't even want them in the first place. I have it all turned off in notifications and they are still coming...must be a bug

I have this problem as well, but what's worse is that whenever I click "OK" for invitee notification, it resends out the entire calendar invitation to everyone who was invited. It has caused me to constantly spam all the attendees who are on my calendar invitation. The only way I could prevent this from happening further was by turning off calendar for my exchange account. I would love to know how to permanently fix this as I need to see my calendar on my phone but don't want to cause undue calendar updates to get sent out every time someone declines or accepts my invites.

I have the exact same problem and the only way I could fix was to delete the meeting in Outlook and then recreate it.

I had the same problem. I found that if I turned off calendars for my Exchange account and turned it back on this cleared the response that was stuck. This way I didn't have to delete the meeting.

Is there any solution that doesn't involve me deleting the meeting request or turning on and off the calendar for this account? I send invites all the time, these aren't solutions I'm happy to live with.

One of my colleagues may found a solution.

Go to Settings-> Notifications-> Calendar -> Invitee Responses and turn off everything in there.

I'm just testing it out now but it seems to be working thus far.

This was actually the first thing I tried, no luck. It seems to only be an issue when I set up a reoccurring meeting. When I set up meetings for one instance, the notifications are gone when I click ok.

Same problem here, stupid notification stuck, OK button getting highlighted if I hit it, but nothing really happening. Indeed it is for a written reply to a recurring meeting, in Outlook. Can't really start messing with the meeting or my Exchange settings, both would have business repercussions. I need basic calendar functions to work for my phone to be usable for work. Please Apple get to it and fix it ASAP!

Confirmed again it's only reoccurring meetings where this is an issue, and the issue is still there. I've set up a bunch of meeting this past week which occur once. When clicking "ok" to these responses, they disappear. However, when setting up a reoccurring meeting, they get stuck.

I am seeing the same problem using ios 8.0.3 on both my ipad air and iphone 5s.

Suggested approach of " Go to Settings-> Notifications-> Calendar -> Invitee Responses and turn off everything in there." did not resolve the problem.
