After turning off facetime it still uses my cell minutes.

Hi ,

I own an Ipod touch, Iphone 5 and an Imac Core duo. I set up Facetime to use it from my Ipod and desktop for free, but it rings my Iphone. It charges my cell minutes. What should I do to get it to just go to the Ipod touch for free.......or the Iphone 5 for free if possible?

Thanks in advance 🙂

IMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.5), I do a ton of music on my Mac!

Hi Macs Are War Horses,

There is a setting on your iPhone which will prevent it from using cellular data for FaceTime. You can access this from Settings > Cellular > FaceTime. See this article for reference -

FaceTime over Cellular
