New iOS8 version of iMovie unable to login to Youtube

Attempting to export an iMovie to Youtube, after logging in with a good username and password, it attempts to login, then bounces the page with the spinning ball and tries again repeatedly. It did complete the login because Google sets a notification on the account that the account was logged into on another device. Which means the username and password are correct and the login was successful. iMovie just does continue after the successful login. This would indicate an iMovie bug to me.....

Additional information. I have removed and reinstalled iMovie. I have shut down and restarted iPad. I have performed a hard restart. It is an iPad air with 64GB of free space. Logging with the Youtube app has no problems. Logging from Safari has no problems.

I had to go to Google and allow less secure apps to login to complete the share. In Google go to Account-> Security Settings. Under account permissions, set the "Access for less secure apps" to enabled.

I had the same troubles and it is corrected by generating a new password within the google -account- tab. If you have done the 2 step verification, you will not be offered the "access for less secure apps" option. So within the google "account" tab you will need go into "security check ups", then work you way down to "Check you app passwords" and select the device you want to connect and it will generate you a 16 digit password.
