Can I see geotag data on iPhone / iPad in ios8
Now that iPhoto is disabled in ios8, I am viewing my photos in the Photo app, however I can't see how to view the geotag data in the Photo app.

If you want anything more detailed then a map showing where the photo was taken you need a metadata or exif app, naturally available from the App Store.
Thanks but all I am looking for is the date, time and basic location data (map), I can't see this in the Photo app.
is there a way to see this?
Open the photos app and tap photos at the bottom of the screen. Tap the location for a map and the photos for dates. Without photos it's hard t explain so I included a link to the iPad User Guide for IOs 8.

You're welcome. Just my luck since IOS 8 I can't attach screenshots from my iPad or I would have walked you through it. Did you tap the long line of tiny photos then tap one of the row of photos so you get the photos down the left of the screen ?
