I have just upgraded to iMovie 10.0.5 and I found out that I cannot export to .mov format anymore. Please help!
There is no "export" in the newest iMovie. All you can do is "share" to file which makes an .mp4 file that uses the same codecs that would be found in a .mov container.

I was in the same boat at kiril. I wanted to export a .mov file. What you can also do is select the clip, then select "share" it will bring up a separate menu. If you select to email the clip it will create a file on your email application. With the email open you can then right click on the file within the email and select "save to downloads folder".
Within the downloads folder your file will be listed as a .mov file. Move the .mov where ever you want it to go.
OR you can select within the email when you right click "save attachment" and select where you want to save the .mov file.
